LIVING IN BUSCA

The climate in Bahia is very tropical. Since our house is located in the beach front, its construction is rather simple. The house is exposed to wind and sun, comparable like living on a boat. The temperature in bahia never drops under 23 degrees celsius, so the windows remain open and have no glass. Due to high density of salt from the sea winds, the house has the least amount of metal possible and is furnished with basic, but beachwise well working furniture.

WATER

we have our own water well and water in all 3 bathrooms and kitchen. It is a brazilian policy to have cold showers in a beachhouse !

BEDS

All beds are equipped with matrasses, but we ask renters to bring their own sheets and bedcovers, towels and so on.

KITCHEN

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, small amount of cutlery cups and pans. A large size fridge and freezer will keep your food fresh.

SUPERMARKET

A big american size supermarket is located at the entrance to the condominium, approximately 10 min. drive from the house.

ELECTRICAL

Due to the high amount of salt we do not leave any electrical devices in the house. Bring your ipod and a loudspeaker. TVs do not survive Busca Vida !!

INTERNET

Up to date there is no internet connection available. You can go to the nearest shopping center where they provide free wireless internet in the restaurants. ( Shopping Estrada do Coco.)

MR. PAULINHO & FAMILY

Mr. Paulinho is our Caseiro. He is taking care of the garden and is the good spirit of our house. On request he will fire up the grill for a churrasco of your choice. His wife may clean the house and cook for you if you like. She will charge you additional 40 USD for the service.

SURFING

We recommend you to bring your surfboard. Surfshops are located 10 minutes from Busca in Villas do atlantico. It is not possible to rent boards yet. The spot in front of the house remains very uncrowded. You will mostly be on your own.

THE GARDEN

The garden around the house is 200 meters long and has a freshwater lagoon in the back. Little monkeys and birds will enlighten your breakfast.

RENTAL CAR

it is very important to have a rental car when coming to busca. We recommend to rent a car on internet. ( you will get the best prices )

GETTING HERE

It will only take 15 min. drive from the airport to busca Vida. - Drive north on Estrada do Coco. At KM 8 there is a turn off to the right. It wil lead you straight into Busca Vida.
